Welcome from Ms Wright and the children of Class 5W.

Caythorpe PGL
We had a brilliant stay at Caythorpe this year and you can see (lots) of photos from it on our PGL page.
5W class assembly
On the Thursday 2nd of February 5W performed a spy themed assembly, it included dazzling Dramas, mind blowing Gymnastics and Leaflets that even J.K. Rowling would be stunned by.
5W planned the whole performance themselves, it was a shaky start but it all came together in the end. We started the performance with three of the Gymnastic groups (Free Rascals, Spy Stars and Black Cats) there performance was astounding.
Next we saw one of the short drama/play (Little Spies) the parents were amazed and so were we. After that the last two gymnastic groups performed (Boomtastic and Bouncing Bombs). The last of the drama/play performances (Mini Mayhem) took their place on the stage, and we were shocked by the creativity of the performance. Finally Daniel Jackson and Aaron Trevor shared are class leaflets based on floops castle from spy kids movie.
The parents gave a last round of applause and are head teacher Mrs. Stileeaneedes thanked all of the parents for showing up at the assembly. Everyone in 5W was thankful that their parents/carers showed up, and also for the amount that came.

5ws spy assembly
Hello everyone
We loved doing our spy assembly which you should all know about. We don’t usually do class assembly’s so it was a great honour. We would like to thank Miss Webster who organised this for us and made it happen. This was very fun for us because we got to choose who we worked with and choose what we wanted to do (drama, leaflets or gymnastics) .Many of us wanted to work in groups. We haven’t done many things like this so we were quite scared but exited at the same time. The gymnastics got to design their own logo, it was very fun. We have taken risks trying things we haven’t done before. We got to make up our own names. It was great fun!!!!!!

Other work
5W have been busy getting creative with language and design technology. We have designed and made ‘Little Ships’ linked to our topic on World War 2 and we have been working on our class Literacy target, creating a variety of fabulous sentences linked to Bonfire night.
We hope you like our photos, the big smiles and focussed concentration says it all! We are working really hard but enjoying the learning journey as we go.
