Goodbye and good luck as you move on.
The children had a lovely Transition Day this week and were all very excited to meet their new teachers and classmates. While we are all excited for September, the end of a school year is always a bittersweet time as we are also saying our goodbyes.
Firstly, we are saying goodbye to our fabulous Year 6 pupils. They have worked extremely hard this year and we are very proud of their achievements. They have also made a fantastic contribution to the life of the school and we will miss them. We had a lovely Leavers’ Service for them this morning and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! We wish them all the best as they go on to their new schools and hope they keep striving to be the best they can be.

We are also saying goodbye to some staff that are leaving us. Miss Howlett, Mr Folmer, Mrs Goddard, Mrs Miller-Brown and Mr Allsebrook are all on their way to pastures new. We would like to thank them for everything they have done for the pupils at GHF and we wish them all the best for the future.
Mrs Gaylard will be starting her maternity leave too but she will be back next year and we look forward to meeting the new baby when it arrives.
