PE & Sport Premium
The government is spending £450 million on improving physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools over the next three academic years (2013 to 2016) to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. The aim is to get more people playing sport. This funding - provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport - will be allocated to primary school head teachers. The money must be used to improve the provision of P.E. and school sport.
