Galleries of Justice Trip 2017
To support their topic on Crime and Punishment, Y5/6 recently visited the Galleries of Justice in Nottingham. It was a packed day and the children had a fantastic time investigating a Victorian murder, playing out a courtroom drama (having to decide on the punishment for an 11-year-old thief) and meeting some important historical characters in the museum. They were delightfully frightened when Jack, the prison warden, locked them in a small, pitch-black cell. Thank you to parents (through your payments and those that helped on the day) for supporting such a fantastic trip!
