We operate a School Council to represent the voice of our pupils and be proactive in carrying out their agreed ideas. Along with our Year 6 House Captains, the School Council is made up of representatives from across the school.
The council is divided into three subcommittees under the headings Learning, Loving, Living and each meets with Mrs Garland to discuss and sort out areas that interest or concern pupils. These may include school lunches, behaviour or ideas for fundraising events. Decisions are given to the school as a whole after the meetings. These are then followed up in classes in Personal, Health and Social Education (PHSE) lessons.
Some members of the council also represent GHF on the Kyra Kids Council, a group of school across Lincolnshire who meet to support and develop ideas and links.
